Why Inchatly Needs Permissions
Inchatly does not require permission to read your browsing history. Instead, it only requests permission to access tabs to perform actions related to tab refreshing and monitoring features. Specifically, the "tabs" permission allows the extension to observe tab updates via chrome.tabs.onUpdated. This permission enables the extension to manage and refresh tabs effectively, ensuring the functionality of its features.
What Inchatly Does Not Access
It’s important to note that the "tabs" permission does not grant access to your previously existing browsing history. Inchatly interacts with active tabs but does not have the capability to read or access your entire browsing history.
